NATALIE BALEY Counsellor, Psychotherapist, & Registered Member of BACP
My experiences of seeking answers when faced with personal, and family challenges prompted me to change career, having previously worked for over 10 years in the Financial Services Industry. I believe my own experience of overcoming challenges puts me in a strong position to have an empathic understanding of the situations my clients face today.
My training led to a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London, an accredited course by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I followed this with a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy also from the University of East London.
I have also received additional training in Motivational Interviewing which is particularly useful in helping overcome addictions. I am experienced in complex and complicated bereavement, and work with young people and adults in an acute NHS hospital setting.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP) and adhere to the code and ethics of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I'm interested in mindfullness and meditation. My research interest is the psychological trauma of serious youth violence.
